“Even if they do not know our work, they will see our progress”
The Southeast Continent
Dir’Ok is the largest of the five continents, stretching across an estimated 189,524 Ji from its two furthest points. Often referred to as the "Woodlands," Dir'Ok, boasts the most extensive vegetation of all the continents. From dense green forests to lush fields of grass, the continent is an oasis of life in an otherwise barren world.
Beyond Dir’Ok’s tall treeline and warm shores is a mostly unknown world, laced with ancient Artifacts and untold legends. More well known is that the continent is home to Dwarves and Elves, the two dominant sentient species in the forests. The two species have established their own trading and distribution hubs along the Mok Channel's shorelines and riverways. The Elves of Dir'Ok are considered skilled navigators and traders, renowned for their knowledge of the land and sea. Embedded in that is a proficiency in craftsmanship and medicine, specifically focusing on magecraft potions and the building of ships. These ships, called Dirks, are the fastest sea faring vessels and have become a point of interest as global relationships loosen and military resources strengthen.
The neighboring Dwarves can be found in the secluded northern mountain range of Dellium, having dissociated themselves from the Dwarven city of Ajodah. Because of their isolation, not much is known about these Dwarves. However, the Elves do speak of a trade relationship between the two species, for which the Dwarven precious metals and weaponry are exchanged for Elven agriculture and goods.
The Flora Region
Gwenyndel
Embedded deep inside the expansive and luscious lands of Dir’Ok, the grand elven city of Gwenyndel can be seen. Considered the heart of the continent, the city has been described as breathtaking with reports mentioning the feeling of connectedness and a profound sense of mysticism.
The city is built around a large waterfall encompassed by a large rock face that holds a series of extravagant buildings. Each building is constructed from an ancient elven building method that requires the layering of thousands of thin Amaruk Gold plates in a specialized spiral shape. Each spiral along the building is then secured with rare polished Emerald Acorns. The most notable of these buildings is the exclusive Grand Elven Academy, perched at the highest point of the city directly over the waterfall.
Looking past the cities’ beauty can offer insight to the world of elves and the world’s global trading network. Merchants from every continent come to Gwenyndel to find and trade for herbs and medicines, exclusive to the Ancient Woodlands.
Despite the mysteries and inherent dangers associated with the land of Dir'Ok, it is filled with great beauty and wonder, nothing more so than the “City of the Elves”, Gwenyndel. The ancient Elven city can be found at the confluence of the Mok Channel waterways. It is considered the heart of the continent and is said to be the most breathtaking and enchanting place among all the continents.

Mok Channel
The Mok Channel is a popular trading channel located between southern Eirium and northern Dir’Ok. Flowing from the Gallionn Sea, the murky waters of the Mok Channel are made up of an elaborate system of overlapping streams and abrupt shorelines. If you are able to follow(navigate) the complex system of streams far enough into the continent of Eirium, you will be greeted by the heart of illegal dealings and black market goods, Loch-Bay. Further south, the channel connects dwarven outposts and elven settlements with both Gwenendyl, and the rest of the world.
The channel is not only populated with traveling merchants and elven traders, but also violent pirates eager to satiate their greed. Encounters with these pirates are typically infrequent and are usually a result of shipwrecks or poor navigation. However, in recent months these encounters have become a regular occurrence, as the pirates have become much more violent and adventurous. With the pirates expanding into new territory, including the Dir’Okian mainland, Gwenendyl has sent the Royal Guards to squash the pirates’ expansion and reestablish stability in the area.
