“Dragons were the former rulers of the ancient world. In the modern era, they live side by side many other sentient creatures and dwarf in comparison to that of the ‘Old Gods’.

Dryad

“Dryads are infamous for their isolationist behavior and their rarity to interact with those outside the forest greens. Those lucky enough to encounter a Dryad are met with a powerful being bound to its good nature with propensity to help those wondering the woodlands."

Dwarf

“Most often those who encounter Dwarves are met with colorful personalities and an unforgettable story to match. Unlike their character, Dwarves do not come in many shapes and sizes. Their short stature is filled with dense muscle and a loyal heart."

Elehorn

“Elehorn’s are the only species to rival Dinosaurs, in part due to their tendency to travel as a herd. Many spectators around the world travel to the “Elehorn path”. An annual mating ritual where all elehorns travel the canyons of the southern mesas to an unknown region in Puer Sol."

Elf

“Mainly found on the wooded continent of Dir’Ok, the elven species can be found on any of the five continents. With their keen eyesight and craftsmanship, elves can be a valuable ally but most often choose neutrality, even among their own settlements. After Gwenendyl opened their gates for trading, many Elves saw this as a betrayl of belief and have cut ties with the grand city and its inhabitants."

Fex

“There have been recent studies made in Amoria that have shown that the cat-like species has a natural resistance to both healing and destructive magecraft elements. Their general tenacity and quick feet make them great couriers for the Senecan Empire."

Frog

“Despite their angered looks, almost all species of Frog are friendly in nature, with only a few exceptions. The monolithics, found exclusively in Lyra are extremely protective of their young and will use their massive size to deter foes. The most aggressive and the rarest species, the Longtongues, will swallow anything that lingers too long on the camouflaged tongue’s surface."

Gladiator

“Gladiators are not made at birth, but instead built from the hardship and battle prowess developed over many battles at the Senecan Coliseum. Those who enter the infamous arena are promised fame and glory but are often left limbless and disappointed. The actual term “Gladiator” is a rank only given to those who climb to the top of the Coliseum battle rankings and is often used synonymously with bravery and strength. All different species around the world attempt to climb the ranks to become a gladiator, but very few make it there and even fewer attempt the Trial of Crixus."

Griffin

“Griffins’ exceptional flying skills and secluded nature has made it extremely difficult to study the mysterious species in depth. Griffins’ have occasionally been spotted flying around the southern canyon beds and have been described as a “feathered dragon”. Dwarven tales have described an ancient battle of Griffin and Dragons, where the dragons almost eliminated the species altogether. However, there is no evidence to confirm this."

“Humans are believed to be the second highest population of sentients across the planet, behind only the widespread Mushroom species. Despite their physical limitations, their high population and above average intellect has enabled them to become the one of the dominant species across Lyra, Itrea and Valdor. Within these continents, humans are seated in a variety of powerful positions, including those of government and other high end organizations."

“Famous for their overt and convert influence on affairs in Lyra, the 9 Knights were created out of necessity during the “Great War”. The organization contains 9 of the most powerful and righteous individuals and a few hand selected subordinates. Those part of the small but prestigious group all called themselves Knights."

Legionnaire

“Soldiers of soldiers, beasts among burdens, bloodless. All terms used to described those part of the elite group of warriors that protect Seneca. They are considered to be an unbeatable group of soldiers, born and bred to fight. Each one of the Legionnaires come from beating the trials of the coliseum and pledging their allegiance to the capital city."

Lumbex

“Lumbex are an ancient species of tree-like creatures that can live for hundreds of years. The isolated species is considered friendly to most, but there have been several reports of incidents involving Lumbexes and massacre. Despite this, they are considered one of the wisest species but their tight lips and neutral nature has made it difficult to learn of their insights."

Merchant

“The told tales of the traveling merchant have made the profession highly reputable and sought after. Pretty much all species indulge in the trading of goods for coin but few have the prestigious title of Merchant. The title is only given to a select few who are in good standing of each of the world’s governments, and are granted the right of guaranteed safe passage between continents."

Mole

“Under the soil lies a vast network of Mole Tunnels, expanding both Dir’Ok and Eirium. These tunnels form what is considered different Mole colonies. The moles that live in the colonies frequently surface to engage with outsiders and trade labor for goods."

Mushroom

“The Mushroom species contains a diverse group of sentient and non-sentient, large and small, colorful and dull, playful and poisonous, mushrooms. These creatures are almost exclusive to the Eirium region, with poisonous, gray pale mushrooms covering the majority of the meadow grounds. Occasionally, and mostly on pirate ships, you spot a mushroom. Don’t let their friendly looks deceive you."

Nomad

“Nomad is a homograph, with one being one who moves from place to place and the other, fittingly, being a species who does the same. Mostly contained within the canyons of the Valdor, the Nomad species makes their way across the whole continent every year. Their tough skin and pioneering nature has enabled them to traverse the Valdorian Terrain and, in some cases, explore the world."

Pirate

“Through unconventional methods, there are many whom sail the world's waterways in search of loot and bounties and call themselves pirates. Pirates typically stick to the coastal waters of the Mok channel but recent reports indicate a recent surge in Pirates on the open seas."

Primate

“Adult primates are some of the most fearsome creatures in the Dir’Okean woodlands. They have a tendency to move as a pride. That, and their ability to strategize, has given them a reputation for outsiders to want to avoid. Their combined strength rivals even the largest creatures."

Royal

“Royals are descendants from one of the three ancient bloodlines - Amoria, Argoros, and Antill, from Lyra, Itrea and Dir’Ok, respectively. Each of these bloodlines have enormous respect from their ancestor’s accomplishments and have given them the passage for substantial influence."

“Anyone who studies at one of the prestigious universities on Ori Island is considered a Scholar. Each scholar is adept at Magecraft and studies one of the many paths of the timeless art. These studious individuals are highly sought in many fields ranging from scroll creation to personal protection."

Shade

“These cryptic and elusive beings bring fear through just a mention of their name. The existence of these mysterious creatures is considered an anomaly. Each reported sighting describes fictional-like qualities and stories to match."

“Not too much is known about the Shamans themselves. However, Shaman rituals can be seen in specific locations across Valdor and Dir’Ok. These rituals involve some sort of ancient Magecraft and is assumed to relate to the dead."

Skeleton

“Skeletons are part of a subgroup of undead. Their bodies remain intact…somewhat. Their mental functions seem to be limited to what is believed to be their dying desire. It is believed that the greedy nature of those who eventually become skeletons, has led many of them to become Pirates to fulfill their greedy desires."

“Soldiers are scattered across the world and are an integral part of any modern army. They are the frontline of assaults and the main pawn moved on the geopolitical board."

“Witches harness unknown powers. Their practice of forbidden blood magic forced Lyra, Itrea, Valdor and Dir’Ok to each exile them and disallow their presence.
